(Founder/Executive Director)
LAURA ELLIS an award winning actor, director, writer, producer and arts educator in theatre and film. Most recently, she worked on “The Accused” (Sony Pictures), “Hello Stranger” (starring Simu Liu), and “Relax I’m From the Future” (starring Rhys Darby). For many years, Laura has been actively involved in several organizations impacting our city which includes serving as the Vice President for the Hamilton Fringe Festival, jurying/adjudicating for arts committees, and hosting events including the City of Hamilton Arts Awards. She’s dedicated herself to creating arts initiatives such as Hamilton LOFT, Women’s Work, and Backstage Pass which showcase the talent of underrepresented artists in the community and provide opportunities for mentorship, training, and space to create and promote their work. Laura strives to build a sustainable network of artistic support in Hamilton so that artists continue having reasons to invest in and be proud of our city.

ALYSHA MAIN is a Music Supervisor, DJ, and Podcaster who has been working in the entertainment industry for two wild decades. Her career has taken her to Toronto, London, UK and Melbourne, Australia, working in Artist Management, Event Promotion, Sales, and Marketing. In 2013 she returned to Canada and joined the creative community of Hamilton, spending 2 years on the city’s Music Strategy Implementation Team. She hosts the “Hamilton Film” podcast, and “Music In Film Series” at The Westdale Cinema. She is also an in demand event DJ, and taught a workshop for people that have lived experience with mental illness. Her recent projects as a music supervisor include “The Retreat”, “Vicious Fun”, “Wild Child” and “This Is The Thing”.

LAURA WILSON is an actor and producer. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Sheridan College’s Theatre and Drama Studies Program. Starting out her acting career in theatre, Laura has had the privilege of performing on stages across the country in everything from musicals to Shakespeare to children’s theatre. Onscreen acting credits include Star Trek: Strange New World, Supernatural, Smallville, and Once Upon A Time, as well as staring in the multi-award winning indie comedy The Wingman. Laura was privileged to work with Emmy winning director Reed Morano, on The Handmaid’s Tale, in an episode that was ranked 2nd in Entertainment Weekly’s Top 10 TV Episodes of 2017. As a producer, Laura has worked with Cow Over Moon Children’s Theatre, The Chekov Collective, and was a founding member of Theatre Georgian Bay.
